Marmite Recipe

Ingredients

8 ounces meat

1 cup fresh mushrooms, sliced

2 small onions, sliced

3 whole cloves

2 tablespoons dried parsley

1 tablespoon dried oregano

1 teaspoon dried basil

1 teaspoon dried tarragon

1 teaspoon dried rosemary

1 teaspoon dried sage

1 teaspoon salt

1/2 teaspoon ground black pepper

1 1/2 teaspoons dried basil

1 1/2 teaspoons grated Parmesan cheese

Directions

To Make Marmite Mix: Boil 1 1/2 cups milk in a saucepan set on medium heat. Place over medium heat, stirring constantly, until the milk reaches a rolling boil. Reduce heat to medium and stir in the mushrooms, onions, garlic, parsley, oregano, basil, tarragon, rosemary, sage, salt, pepper, basil, bread crumbs, Parmesan cheese, 1/4 teaspoon saltine croutons, egg white and parsley salt. Bring to a boil and stir until all ingredients are mixed. Let simmer, stirring occasionally, until thickened, about 5 minutes.

Remove from heat and stir in the egg white and parsley salt. Stir in the cheese, increasing the amount of cheese according to taste. Remove from heat and stir in the marmite mix. Serve over cooked rice.
