1 (15 ounce) can whole cranberry sauce
1 cup cold water
1 cup cranberry juice
2 tablespoons white sugar
1 1/2 cups chopped orange peel
1 tablespoon orange zest
1 tablespoon lemon juice
1 (6 ounce) can sliced pineapple with juice
In a steamer over medium-high heat, place cranberry sauce and water. Bring to a slow boil, stirring constantly. Reduce heat to low, and stir in cranberry juice, sugar, orange peel, orange zest, lemon juice and pineapple.
Reduce heat to low, and stir in cranberry juice, orange peel, orange zest and pineapple. Pour into steamer and cook about 1 to 2 minutes, stirring occasionally. Serve warm.
I used tamarind juice because it was cheap and easy. I also added corn and red pepper flakes.
