Ingredients

2 tablespoons butter

6 slices breakfast sausage

8 slices whole cooked ham or egg

washing salt to taste

2 tablespoons fresh lemon water

2 eggs (separately), beaten

Directions

Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).

In a large bowl, blend the 2 tablespoons butter and the 6 slices sausage. Shape the sausage into a large, round shape.

Cut 2 cubes of pork sausage into 1/2 inch rolls. Cut into 1/4 inch cubes. Wrap each pork sausage with the sausage, ham, egg and salt. Arrange the slices in a single layer on an ungreased baking sheet.

Bake sausage 15 minutes in the preheated oven. Drain grease dripping from pan. Cool the edges of the sausage. To serve, cool the pieces by placing in a pie plate, or waxed paper coated with cooking spray. Garnish with lettuce, tomato slices, ham cheese, green onions, poppy seed jam and other cheese resting with scraps of sausage. Beat remaining ingredients until mixed. Roll slices of sausage into pint cubes, wrapping in waxed paper. Place slices on pie plate. Secure with a knife end-to-end.
