1/3 cup packed brown sugar
1 cup butter, softened
1/3 cup packed light brown sugar
2 bananas
1 cup chopped pecans
1 (8 ounce) package cream cheese, softened
1/2 cup white sugar or egg substitute
1/2 cups all-purpose flour
1 (8 ounce) package cream cheese, softened
1/4 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 (8 ounce) container frozen whipped topping, thawed
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).
Combine 1/3 cup brown sugar and 1 cup butter in a small bowl; set aside.
In a large bowl, mix together brown sugar mixture, banana, pecans, cream cheese and 1/2 cup sugar. Spread on bottom of 9-inch pie pan. Chill overnight before serving.
Perform vanilla and whipped topping changes according to taste, garnish with pecans.
I made this quick, easy appetizer for a party and they disappeared very quickly. Several people asked me for the recipe. I would definetly make it again.
