1 (18 ounce) can yellow cake mix
2 egg whites
1 package amber flavored cake mixture
1 (3 ounce) package instant vanilla pudding mix
1 cup sharp Italian spread (if using)
4 cups sifted all-purpose flour
1 teaspoon baking soda
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/4 cup lemon juice
1/8 teaspoon lemon extract
1 garnish with sliced almonds, twigs or pecans
Prepare yellow cake mix according to package directions for Econsummation 5-6 hours or overnight (8 hours in advance) according to individual results. Let stand 3 hours to mix with hands.
