1/4 cup chicken broth
1 cup uncooked rice
1 (16 ounce) package chicken flavored rice
3/4 cup cooked, cubed chicken meat
1 cup cooked, cubed onion
1 pound skinless, boneless chicken breast halves
1 medium onion, chopped
2 tablespoons lemon juice
1/2 teaspoon minced garlic
1/4 cup salt
1 tablespoon chicken bouillon granules (optional)
Place chicken broth in slow cooker. In a medium saucepan or skillet, melt butter or margarine. Mix in rice and stir in broth.
Lightly oil a 9x13 inch casserole dish.
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).
To Make Casserole: Place chicken, onion, lemon juice and garlic in slow cooker. Season with chicken bouillon granules, if desired.
Bake in preheated oven for 1 hour, stirring frequently.
