1 medium apple, peeled and cored
2 small onions, finely chopped
1 cup brown sugar
1 teaspoon ground nutmeg
1/2 teaspoon dried marjoram flowers, crushed
1/2 teaspoon dried basil
1/2 teaspoon dried basil
2 teaspoons dry lemon peel
1/2 teaspoon salt
2 teaspoons butter
Place apple, onion, brown sugar, nutmeg, marjoram, flowers, basil, lemon peel, salt and butter in a blender or food processor. Blend until apple mixture is completely mixed. Cover and refrigerate to allow flavors to blend.
Drizzle the mixture over French veal and spoon on top of a piece of lemon-lime bread. Top with bread and serve immediately.
