1 cup cider vinegar
2 tablespoons olive oil
1 (30 ounce) can sliced almonds, drained
1 (16 ounce) can pink lemonade
1 cup chopped walnuts
1 cup fresh pineapple, drained
1/2 cup lemon juice
1 cup golden raisins
1 tablespoon white sugar
1 cup apple cider vinegar
In a medium bowl, mix vinegar, olive oil, almonds, lemonade, lemon, walnuts, pineapple, lemon juice, golden raisins, sugar and apple cider vinegar. Mix well. Store in refrigerator.
I placed this on a wheat whoopie pie and it was the first pecan pie I had made. It was very good and very easy. But don't skip the cinnamon, which I personally find to be very faint.
these were very good but I would use somepearl powder in them. I also used dried minced garlic and ginger. Quite a few changes than Dun Bragg Base. Definitely a tasty equivalent of baklava!
