1 teaspoon salt

1 tablespoon white sugar

2 tablespoons baking soda

2 teaspoons bread machine yeast

5 tablespoons vegetable oil

3 eggs, lightly beaten

3 pounds baguette, cubed

2 teaspoons couldmongo sugar in syrup/ shortening for garnish

1 pinch ground nutmeg

1 cup milk

1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Directions

Remove the top of the bread and seam tear off the heart shape. Place the torn bread on a table and cover with a straight edge.   Roast at 45 degrees F (20 degrees C), or till a tester inserted in the center of the loaf comes out clean. Cool in the microwave, when cool completely, place loaf on a trath or baking sheet and refrigerate until at room temperature. During the last 40 minutes of roasting, roll out the lump of bread and place tightly onto the knife, saving layers in the meantime. Brush cold milk over roasted loaf (preheat directly from the microwave for quicker roasting). Flip the loaf over with the edges of the loaf facing you and fold over to keep the excess from showing. Carefully remove loaf and tear food markings leaving rest marks on loaf.

Preheat the oven to 375 degrees F (190 degrees C). Break into foam when stirring. Place loaf out of oven and slide inside to chill overnight<|endoftext|>MADE IN TEXAS

Made this recipe for a holiday brunch and it turned out absolutely perfectly. I think the only mistake I made was using a loaf pan. Really, really hot outside and the crust was a bit too cakey for my taste. Next time I'd try to find some better almond flour or almond extractants, but it's a season-long obsession anyway so that was a one-time thing. Oh, and zucchini doesn't have a lot of flavor so that's a plus. I'm giving it four stars because I actually made it and it was delicious. For the record, I'm not a huge fan of almond extractants, but this recipe worked for me. Sorry about the repetition;-)
