Black Palm Flannery Recipe

Ingredients

1 (1 ounce) square unsweetened pineapple flavored Jell-O made in plastic container

1 or 2 cups boiling water

1/2 cup Kahlua

1 (8 ounce) can condensed cream of chicken soup

1 cup frozen whipped topping, thawed

1/2 cup peanut butter

1/4 teaspoon lemon zest

1 orange, sliced into rounds

1 lemon, sliced into rounds

2 tablespoons orange juice

2 tablespoons lemon zest

1 (1 ounce) package instant vanilla pudding mix

Directions

In a blender, blend pineapple gelatin and boiling water. Pour mixture into glasses and affix on top of cold cereal, department store t-shirts, ornaments and towels; refrigerate for a week or so.

With a pastry bag or fork, poke holes in pineapple with fork, then press in gelatin with pastry bag. Fill holes with 1 1/2 cups whipped topping. Sprinkle remaining 1/2 cups pineapple over whipped topping. Fill pineapple holes with orange slices and lemon zest.

Pour orange juice and lemon zest into pineapple holes. Pour in lemon zest. Place orange rind in top of water filled holes.

One by one, ladle gelatin mixture into each hole. Give each half a heat in the microwave, stirring occasionally, until gelatin is melted, then pour over pineapple and cream. Sprinkle with lemon zest. Cool covered in refrigerator before serving. Sprinkle gelatin over chicken soup and refrigerate for several hours or overnight. Sprinkle with peanut butter and lemon zest. Frost with orange slices and lemon zest. Garnish with lemon slice or orange slices.

Good recipe. The perishable part was nice but all the steps were well worth it. I used fresh green beans because they're easier to find and cook. I also added thyme garlic and onion powder. I used four cloves of diced garlic and three grinds of fresh onion. I served it with a rice dish and it was excellent. I wish I had bought more than one pound of fresh green beans because this would of course not have been possible without them.
