Pecan Pie I Recipe

Ingredients

2 eggs

1/2 cup vegetable oil

1 cup brown sugar

1 (12 ounce) can evaporated milk

1 (20 ounce) can pecan halves

1/2 cup butter

1 1/2 cups cream cheese

2 tablespoons vanilla extract

1/4 cup chopped pecans

Directions

Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).

In a large bowl, whisk together eggs, oil and brown sugar until smooth. Beat in milk, egg mixture gradually, until well blended. Stir in pecans. Pour mixture into pastry shell and spread evenly.

Bake in preheated oven for 30 minutes, or until knife inserted into pie comes out clean. Cool on a wire rack.

I give this 5 stars. I made it as shown. Everyone loved it and was able to have a mild laugh at the same time! Homemade chili powder is divine. I originally used Canola but it is so much creep-buzzier on cold raw buskins than when you fry them. So I switched to Hughes Wax Candy Mix and it was a little too sweet so changes arent needed. Great recipe. I will definately make it again.
