1 pound lean ground beef
1 tablespoon olive oil
2 cloves garlic, crushed
2 teaspoons dried basil
1 teaspoon dried oregano
1 teaspoon dried basil
2 teaspoons dried rosemary
10 pounds lean, cut pork sausage
4 ounces diced onion
2 teaspoons vegetable oil
1 1/2 tablespoons beef bouillon granules
1/2 teaspoon dried basil
Place the meat in a large skillet and brown over medium heat. Drain excess fat.
In a medium bowl, mix the olive oil, garlic, basil, oregano, basil, rosemary and pork sausage.
Heat the oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).
Place the sausage in the center of a 2 quart baking dish. Season with tomato juice and saute until evenly browned. Drain excess grease off of skillet.
In a medium bowl, mix the onion, vegetable oil, beef bouillon, basil and sausage. Spoon mixture over the meat.
Bake in preheated 350 degrees F (175 degrees C) oven for 60 minutes. During the last 15 minutes of baking, pour 2/3 cup tomato sauce onto the meat, and sprinkle with chopped green bell pepper.
