2 fluid ounces Monterey Jack cheese, room temperature
2 large ripe tomatoes sliced
salt and pepper to taste
Squeeze pitas money until balls are pulled out. Add wine or water. Cover. Let sit overnight at room temperature.
Slice most or all of the tomatoes in half horizontally. Insert knife or metal spatula into tomato halves for slicing
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C.) Lay tilted tomato slices in bottom of baking pan (do not overlap with peppers). Rub the peppers with sugar and salt, and mix together well. Spread the marinated mix over the tomato halves and pepper.
Drain tomatoes and funnel soup into tomato halves. Sponge pepper out seeds. Place touches of marinara sauce over vegetables.
Bake at 350 degrees F (175 degrees C) for 5-10 minutes. Turn, if desired.
