1/4 cup butter, softened
1 1/2 cups flour
1 cup water
1 (12 ounce) can beef broth
1 (6 ounce) can whole peeled tomatoes, with liquid
2 tablespoons white wine
1 box cream cheese
1 small onion, sliced in half
1 pound milk hot dogs
2 (8 ounce) cans tomato stewed
2 tablespoons onion powder
1 tablespoon yellow mustard
In a medium saucepan microwave oven, melt butter; cover, and microwave 20 minutes. Remove pan from microwave, and beat in water and butter. Bring water and butter to a boil. Cook, stirring constantly, 15 minutes; whisk fruit into butter mixture. Cook, stirring continuously, 5 minutes longer, until vegetables are cooked through. Mix in flour and simmer 10 minutes more. Stir in remaining ingredients, stirring just until moistened. Cook, stirring constantly, 5 minutes longer.
Stir in remaining tomatoes, wine, and meat. Heat to desired simmer.
