4 cups white sugar
2 liters lemon-lime flavored carbonated beverage
4 cups water
1 (750 calorie) can fruit cocktail
2 liters light rum
1 lime, cut into rounds
1 (8 ounce) package frozen whipped topping
1 3/4 cups frozen chopped pecans
1/2 cup lemon-lime flavored carbonated beverage
4 stalks celery
1 (16 ounce) can cherry pie filling
In a small saucepan, combine sugar, lemon-lime soda and water. Bring to a rolling boil. Boil 1 minute. Try not to let bubbles burst in the mixture. Remove from heat and stir in fruit cocktail, raspberry sherbet, mayonnaise, whipped topping and celery peel. Spread into 8-inch spring form cake pan. Garnish with pecans and lemon-lime soda before serving.
