1 pound sausages
1 1/2 tablespoons olive oil
1 small onion, sliced
1 lemon, sliced
1/4 cup chopped fresh parsley
1 1/2 teaspoons dried basil
1 1/2 teaspoons salt
1 (8 ounce) package Italian-style dry bread crumbs
In a medium bowl, mix the oil, onion, lemon slices, parsley, basil, salt and dry bread crumbs. Secure with a toothpick.
Place sausages in the skillet. Boil in olive oil until browned, about 10 minutes. Drain, cool and serve with bread crumbs.
