1/2 cup water
1 (16 ounce) package chicken flavored ramen noodles
1/2 cup sour cream
2 tablespoons soy sauce
1 tablespoon lemon juice
1 tablespoon white sugar
1 tablespoon vegetable oil
1 teaspoon dried oregano
1/8 teaspoon ground black pepper
Place water in a medium saucepan, and bring to a boil. Cover, reduce heat, and simmer gently for 10 minutes. Add the ramen noodles, and cook for 1 minute. Drain, and cool.
Place chicken in a large saucepan and cook over medium heat until no longer pink inside. Remove chicken from pan, and chop into pieces. Meanwhile, mix the sour cream, soy sauce, lemon juice, sugar, oil, oregano, and black pepper. Bring to a boil, and add to the chicken. Cover, simmer 15 minutes, uncovered.
Really good and very easy to make. It comes out great. The smell is great. I looked for ways to use the fresh mushrooms but didn't think they would be necessary. I did think they might be nice but said they were for "flavor" and added salt and pepper. I didn't cook them too short because I didn't want them to be too dry.
