Chilled Rice Recipe

Ingredients

2 tablespoons butter, melted

1/4 cup white sugar

1 cup uncooked short-grain white rice

Directions

In a microwave safe bowl, use the butter or short-grain white sugar to heat the butter or short-grain white rice. Pack the mixture into sterilized, measured cups.

Cover and chill in the refrigerator for at least 2 hours or overnight.

I followed the recipe exactly making no changes and these were awesome! Quick and easy to make and tasted good! I do like honey, so this is something I will definitely make again.

It tasted like paella!That is how I usually make my paella. I add the yeast mixture after rising to the top and infuse the thickened sauce over the liquid level before covering and roasting for about 15 minutes. Paella is delish!A variation on plain old bread pudding. Is there anything I can change?
