8 skinless, boneless chicken breast halves
3 tablespoons olive oil
1/4 cup honey
1 1/2 teaspoons lemon zest
1/2 teaspoon salt
3 cloves garlic, minced
2 teaspoons vegetable oil
1/4 teaspoon sugar
1 teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes
1 teaspoon packed brown sugar
1 tablespoon allspice and thyme
2 tablespoons honey
1 teaspoon fresh lemon juice
1/2 teaspoon thyme
Season chicken with olive oil and honey. Heat a large skillet over medium high heat. Coat oil, chicken and honey with flour. Transfer to the skillet. Add honey, lemon zest, salt, garlic, vegetable oil and chicken. Cook, stirring occasionally, for 20 minutes or until chicken is cooked through. Stir in the sugar, chili seasoning, brown sugar, allspice and thyme. Heat through. Adjust seasoning, if desired. Sprinkle chicken with crushed pecans, chopped pecans and pecans on one side. Sprinkle with confectioners' sugar, if desired.
