1 cup brown sugar
1 cup butter/lard
3 eggs
1 cup buttermilk
1/4 cup packed brown sugar
1 cup poppy seeds
1 teaspoon salt
3 cups all-purpose flour
3 tablespoons margarine
salt to taste
1 banana
1 (9 inch) prepared chocolate cookie crumb pie crust
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Grease and flour a 9-inch round pan.
To Make Frosting: Melt butter in large medium saucepan over medium heat. Stir eggs and brown sugar into butter mixture, stirring and gradually blending with the flour. Mix together and gradually pour into prepared pan.
Frost with poppy seed mixture: Brush bottom of pie crust with egg butter mixture. Drizzle with brown sugar icing. Remove wrappers from sliced candy pieces and place in pie crust. Cover edges of cake with plastic wrap and refrigerate dough until cool enough to handle.
