2 cups pearl onions
3 cloves garlic, grated
2 cups water
1 tablespoon tartar wood, of cream or ketchup
1 teaspoon thyme
1 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon white sugar
2 tablespoons extract lemon zest
2 1/2 cups viable cow milk, divided
Cut onion into 1/4-inch slices.
Add salt, sugar, lemon zest, water, onion slices, and garlic. Mix well. Cover, and refrigerate mixture in refrigerator. (Note: Liquify milk mixtures by shaking well; use 1/3 milk for liquid mixtures, 2 tablespoons for salad mixes or stewed tomatoes.)
Preheat broiler.
Place mixture on heated broiler pan. Grill about 1 minute, turning frequently, until bubbly and golden brown.
