Baked in the Dutch oven: Honey, Nut Stuffing and Butter Recipe

Ingredients

1 pound sweet potatoes, peeled, cubed

2 cups evaporated milk

3 tablespoons all-purpose flour

tablespoon salt

2 teaspoons baking powder

1/8 teaspoon ground nutmeg

1 cup butter, melted

1/3 cup brown sugar

1/2 cup milk

1 cup lemon juice

Directions

Place potatoes in a nonporous glass bowl and cover with cold water. Bring water to a boil and immediately remove potato from the water. place frozen in the refrigerator overnight.

Melt butter with a little pinch of salt in a medium saucepan over medium heat. Add the melted butter and milk and cook until the butter is melted.

Serve hot as is or simply pour the mixture over the frozen potato in a shallow bowl and drizzle milk over the bowl.
