2 cups all-purpose flour
1 tablespoon baking powder
1 tablespoon baking soda
1 cup white sugar
2 teaspoons hot pepper sauce
1 teaspoon salt
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Grease and flour 2 quart casserole dish.
Place flour in a large bowl. Set aside 2 1/4 cups. Stir baking powder into remaining 1 1/4 cups; pour mixture into greased and floured pan.
Preheat oven on broiler setting.
In a large bowl, combine sugar, hot pepper sauce, and salt. Mix well, then sprinkle with flour.
Bake in preheated oven 15 minutes, or until lightly browned. Allow to cool, then fill dish with foil.
