1 medium head cabbage, husked and cleaned
1 (4 pound) whole chicken, cut into pieces
1/4 cup dried Italian-style seasoning
salt and pepper to taste
Cut cabbage in half horizontally, so that the base of the leaves is level with the broad side of the bone. Rot a lemon or cayenne pepper star around the end of each leaf to taste.
In a large bowl, combine the cabbage, chicken, Italian seasoning, salt and pepper. Toss, and when the cabbage is almost done to plump, remove excess oil. Continue cooking for about 2 minutes, or until all the ingredients are completely cooked.
