1 (10 ounce) package vanilla flavored cake mix
1 cup melted butter
2 3/4 cups confectioners' sugar
1/4 cup chocolate syrup
1/4 cup milk
1/2 cup vanilla extract
1 (8 ounce) package cream cheese, softened
1/2 cup white sugar
2 teaspoons instant chocolate pudding mix
2 teaspoons vanilla extract
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Grease and flour 2 (9 inch) round pans. Stir together cake mix, butter, sugar, chocolate syrup, milk, vanilla and cream cheese.
Divide cream cheese mixture into 2 portions; pat mixture into prepared pans.
Bake in preheated oven for 20 minutes, or until toothpick inserted in center comes out clean. Cool completely before cutting into 1/2" squares. Frost with frosting.
In a medium bowl, beat cream cheese, sugar, pudding mix and vanilla until smooth. Spread over cream cheese mixture.
