Will make again. I used Ms Chile Nuts unpressed whipping creme and created my own 1 1/2 c 99% cocoa Butter. Worked great, not strong enough,but reasonable malty depth. CHOCOLATE??

My husband loved it! He declared it quesadilla and is trying it now! I used the Uncle Ben range and got the same result. A bit of salt and pepper in the pie makes it more hearty, I thought. My husband doesn't like his pie too sweet, so is he that salty? I did add a bit more flour and maybe it is because I had a stand mixer instead of a dough maker. I made a simple tomato soup, and it is probably the same. I just sprinkled garlic powder and dried basil over the pie and it turned out great! Next time I might add some chicken broth, but I am sure the taste would still be good without the added flour. I might try it with some chicken breast chunks I have, for a veggie dinner. It would be great as a main dish too!

This is probably one of my top 5 favorite pie recipes! I have this pie for breakfast every day, it is so easy, very tasty and good. I did make some changes, I used cream of mushroom soup and one packet of Chicken Breasts and turkey bacon, and sauteed garlic cloves in a tablespoon or so of butter. I ground/lightly cracked the almonds instead of trying to remove them completely, I also added my almond extract to the batter/cupcake batter and a tablespoon of almond extract to the filling. I chilled for only about an hour, and then I made the filling:) I used a spoon to spoon the batter over the graham crackers, about 1/4" apart. It worked fine, but it is not as fluffy as I would like it to be. I made a simple biscuit crust with my food processor, but it did not seem to make a

This is a wonderful pie! It is very rich and tastes so good. I used 1/2 cup white sugar and 1/2 cup brown sugar and it turned out great. I did not change a thing and it turned out very rich indeed. Thanks for the recipe!
