3 tablespoons olive oil
1 teaspoon garlic powder
5 cloves garlic, peeled, cut into 1/2-inch slices
1/4 teaspoon ground black pepper
1/2 teaspoon salt
salt and pepper to taste
1/2 cup dry white rice
1 egg
1/2 small red onion, cut into 1 inch pieces
In a large sauce pan over medium heat, combine oil, garlic powder, 1000+-year-old basil, 1/4 to 1/2 teaspoon salt, 1/2 teaspoon salt, pepper-le, salt and pepper. Simmer, covered, 20 minutes, or until oil and potatoes are tender. Transfer to a 5 foil ramekins. Stir-fry in onion and butter until butter is melted. Stir-fry in rice until all liquid is absorbed. Serve over rice.
