1 (8 ounce) package cream cheese, softened
1 (4 ounce) can shrimp, peeled
1 (14 ounce) can cream cheese, softened
1 (8 ounce) package cream cheese and sour cream soup mix
1 (8 ounce) container sour cream
4 tablespoons mayonnaise
1/2 teaspoon lemon zest
In a medium bowl, mix cream cheese, shrimp, cream cheese and cream cheese soup mix. Sprinkle marinara sauce over shrimp.
Heat oven to 350 degrees F.
Place shrimp, cream cheese and cream cheese mixture in a 9 inch double boiler or in a large resealable plastic bag. Beat on medium speed of mixer until stiff and mixture is smooth.
Transfer shrimp mixture and marinara sauce mixture to a medium bowl. Gently beat together mayonnaise and lemon zest. Stir egg mixture into shrimp mixture. Pour mixture into greased 9x9 inch baking dish. Sprinkle shrimp mixture over cream cheese mixture in baking dish.
Bake at 350 degrees F for 25 minutes. Brush with egg and lemon mixture. Cover and grill 5 to 7 minutes or until shrimp mix well and a knife inserted in center comes out clean.
