1 onion, quartered
1 cup chili powder
2 1/2 tablespoons butter
2 teaspoons tomato paste
2 teaspoons dried oregano
2 tablespoons dried basil
1/2 teaspoon dried oregano
1 teaspoon dried basil
1 (5 ounce) can tomato paste
1 cup chopped tomatoes
1 cup cooked chicken to taste
1 Spanish green bell pepper, chopped
1 1/2 pounds ground chile peppers
1/4 pound ground beef
2 (3 ounce) cans minced clams
Place onions in a medium bowl. Pour chili powder over onions and saute over medium heat for about 1 minute. Stirring constantly, gradually stir in butter or margarine, tomato paste, oregano, basil, oregano, basil, oregano and basil until well blended.
Stir in tomato paste, tomatoes, chicken, green bell pepper, chiles and beef. To serve, mix meat and chicken.
This is AWESOME! I first attempted to make this without the butter, but it thickened up beautifully. Then I added the breadcrumbs and rolled them up the sides. We love it and will make it again!
