2 1/2 cups white sugar
1 teaspoon baking soda
1 teaspoon baking powder
6 tablespoons margarine, melted
1 1/2 cups milk
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
2 teaspoons baking soda
1 1/2 teaspoons baking powder
Preheat the oven to 375 degrees F (190 degrees C). Grease cookie sheets.
In a large bowl, cream together the sugar, baking soda, baking powder and margarine until smooth. Beat in the milk and vanilla. Combine the flour, baking soda and baking powder; mix into the creamed mixture. Drop by rounded spoonfuls onto the cookie sheets.
Bake for 8 to 10 minutes in the preheated oven. Allow cookies to cool on baking sheet for 5 minutes before removing to a wire rack to cool completely.
