1 cup butter
1 1/2 fluid ounces orange juice
1 (30 ounce) can pineapple juice
1 1/2 fluid ounces brown sugar
1 (.7 fluid ounce) jigger beer
sifted white sugar
1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 fluid ounce orange juice
4 fluid ounces cranberry juice
In a small saucepan, bring butter, orange juice, pineapple juice, brown sugar and beer to a thick simmer. Cook until all ingredients are thoroughly mixed and slightly watery, about 25 minutes.
Remove from heat and pour into a large measuring cup or oiled metal bowl. Chill in refrigerator before serving.
