8 chicken breast halves, skin removed
1 (14.5 ounce) can yellow corn syrup
1 (2 ounce) can jalapeno pepper spray
2 teaspoons garlic powder
1/3 onion, chopped
6 small tomatoes, sliced into rounds
Remove chicken breasts from their skins and cut each breast roughly in half. Place skin halves flat side down in a large shallow dish. Sprinkle corn syrup over the skins and sprinkle with garlic powder and onion before placing the breasts in the corn syrup.
In a medium bowl, mix together tomatoes and corn syrup. Sprinkle chicken with tomato mixture, then stir in cheese and tomato sauce. Cover and refrigerate to marinate; when ready to cook stir in chicken, tomatoes and salt and pepper. Serve at room temperature.
