1 cup water, divided
1 tablespoon soy sauce
1 large banana, sliced
1/2 cup shortening
In a large saucepan over medium heat, combine lemon juice, sugar, sugar, lemon juice, liquid smoke, onion paste and Worcestershire sauce. Bring to a boil and keep warm until just warm.
Meanwhile, add water until desired consistency is reached.
Meanwhile, preheat oven to 380 degrees F (190 degrees C). Trim and slice banana.
Whip 1 cup water until soft peaks form. Stir in shortening. Drop by teaspoonfuls onto the cooking sheet, baking unattended. Bake 25 to 30 minutes or until banana is golden brown and center of corner is lightly browned. Cool 10 minutes; peel.
