Chocolate Macaroons Recipe

Ingredients

1 (1 ounce) square unsweetened chocolate, chopped

1 cup butter, melted

1 1/2 cups white sugar

1 egg

2 crams ground cinnamon

1/2 cup milk

1/2 cup margarine

1 cup chocolate syrup

1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour

1/2 teaspoon baking soda

1 teaspoon baking powder

1/4 teaspoon salt

Directions

Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Grease cookie sheets. Place chocolate chunks in the microwave and melt in 5 minutes. Spread melted chocolate on the prepared cookie sheets.

Sift together the melted chocolate, sugar, egg, cinnamon, milk, margarine, syrup, flour, baking soda, baking powder and salt. Drop by spoonfuls onto the chocolate cookie sheet.

Bake for 7 to 8 minutes in the preheated oven. Allow cookies to cool completely on baking sheet. When cool, remove parchment paper and loosen chocolate chunk before cutting into bars.
