Teriyaki Baste Recipe

Ingredients

1/2 teaspoon salt

2 teaspoons vegetable oil

2 (9 ounce) cans minced onion, cut into 1/2 inch chunks

1 (1.5 fluid ounce) jigger serrano pepper seasoning

1 tablespoon fresh citrus zest

2 tablespoons fish sauce

2 teaspoons brown sugar

1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce

1 teaspoon flavor jelly

Directions

In a large pot or saucepan over high heat, combine the salt, oil, onion and pepper seasoning. Place in a saucepan with liquid to cover. Bring to a boil, stirring constantly.

Reduce heat to medium-low and bring to a boil. Reduce heat to medium and simmer until vegetables are soft, about 30 minutes. Whisk in the citrus zest and garlic powder. Stir the seafood sauce and green apple cider mixture into the pot and heat through. Stir using wooden spoon for good measure.

I was so excited to make this and was expecting so much more. Non of my guest liked it and they all tried it. To bland, the texture was off.As I`m sure you can imagine I was skeptical. I did some research and they said they had used this recipe before. Great recipe, but I would like to see the video before following through.
