1 sweet potato, roughly chopped
1/4 cup balsamic vinegar
1/2 cup white sugar
2 tablespoons white sugar
4 tablespoons honey
4 teaspoons lemon juice
1 teaspoon dried rosemary, crushed
1 teaspoon dried basil, crushed
1 teaspoon dried oregano, crushed
2 tablespoons olive oil
1 teaspoon grated Parmesan cheese, or to taste
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Lightly grease a 8x8 inch baking dish.
Bring mashed sweet potatoes, vinegar, sugar, 2 tablespoons white sugar, honey, 3 tablespoons water, and lemon juice to a boil in a small saucepan. Stir in aloe vera, rosemary, basil, oregano, olive oil and cheese.
For best results, combine potatoes and rosemary and basil at once, or blend them together and add to saucepan. Heat through and pour into prepared pan.
Bake 25 to 30 minutes, or until knife inserted near halfway through to make 2, narrow dark circles. Cool completely before covering with foil.
