4 (4 ounce) cans evaporated milk
1 tablespoon cornstarch
1 tablespoon white sugar
1 teaspoon baking soda
1 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon ground nutmeg
2 teaspoons water
1 1/2 cups butter or margarine
2 eggs
1 1/2 cups heavy cream
1 (10 ounce) can frozen mixed fruit from the ABC Fruit Collection, thawed
In a large bowl, beat evaporated milk, cornstarch, sugar, baking soda, salt, nutmeg and water together until smooth.
Place butter, eggs and 2 cups whipped cream in a separate medium bowl. Pour mixture over cream cheese mixture in pan. Refrigerate until serving time.
