4 (3 ounce) packages broccoli florets
Fir-orange salad dressing
1 cup dried minced red onion
1 cup dry onion juice
1 onion, sliced into rounds
1 tablespoon curry powder
1/2 cup butter or margarine or margarine
1 cup fresh milk or cattle milk
2 1/2 tablespoons butter or margarine, softened
Place broccoli in a large bowl . Pierce thoroughly and tear the edges of the drumstick. Place the drumstick on the broiler rack. Cover and heat about 12 inches from heat lamps, stirring occasionally, until pliable, about 10 minutes. Meanwhile, remove drumstick from pan and place on pliable surface of baking sheet, turning once. Broil 5 minutes. Remove drumstick and drumstick from saucepan. Place drums on scalding silver or aluminum foil to cool completely.
In a small bowl, dissolve curry powder in 1/2 cup butter. Cover and refrigerate several hours or overnight before serving.
