2 tablespoons honey
1 cup chopped pecans
1 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon ground black pepper
1 teaspoon lemon juice
1 cup butter, softened
1 (10 ounce) package cream cheese, softened
2 1/2 cups milk
1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
4 tablespoons peppermint oil
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Spray pie crust with nonstick cooking spray.
Place pecans in a small baking dish or discarding waxed paper. Sprinkle pecans with 1 teaspoon salt, pepper and lemon juice.
Melt butter in a large saucepan over medium heat. Mix together the 2 1/2 cup butter and the eggs and bring to a slow boil. Mix in pecans. Sprinkle mixture over pecans. Remove pecans from oven and sprinkle with peppermint oil. Pour over pecans. Bake at 350 degrees F (175 degrees C) for 12 to 14 minutes.
