1/3 cup butter, softened
1/2 teaspoon milk
1/4 teaspoon salt
1 cup confectioners' sugar
12 ounces firm tofu, cut into 1 1 inch cubes
In a medium saucepan over medium heat, combine 1/3 cup butter and milk. Bring to a boil, stirring constantly. Reduce heat to low, stirring constantly. Cook, stirring constantly, for 2 to 3 minutes, stirring constantly. Continue to cook for 2 minutes, stirring constantly. Remove from heat and whisk in sugar. Remove from heat and let cool for 1 minute. Slice tofu cubes into 1 inch slices. Arrange them in a large bowl over the butter mixture. Pour the soy sauce and water over theĀ mixture. Cover and refrigerate for about 1 hour.
Prepare a 10x15 point moist pan. In a small bowl, beat until the butter mixture is moistened and sets. Pour over the tofu cubes in the cooled dish. Spread sauce mixture over tofu and vegetables. Repeat with remaining ingredients.
