Banana Banana Bread Recipe

Ingredients

3 1/2 cups whole wheat flour

1 teaspoon baking powder

3/4 teaspoon baking soda

1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon

1/2 teaspoon salt

1 cup warm milk

2 eggs

3/4 cup vegetable oil

1/2 cup brown sugar

1/2 cup brown sugar for dusting

1 egg, lightly beaten

Directions

Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Grease and flour a 9x5 inch loaf pan.

In a large bowl, stir together whole wheat flour, baking powder, baking soda, cinnamon, salt and milk. Mix in eggs, oil and brown sugar. Stir in flour mixture. Pour batter into prepared pan.

Bake in preheated oven for 60 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into center of the loaf comes out clean.

Meanwhile, in a separate bowl, mix together brown sugar, brown sugar, brown sugar, brown sugar and brown sugar. Stir egg into flour mixture until blended. Pour batter over loaf in pan.

Bake in preheated oven for 60 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center of the loaf comes out clean. Watch closely; you'll see three bubbles forming on the underside of the loaf. Remove loaf from oven and dust with brown sugar and brown sugar glaze. Sprinkle with egg yolks to serve.
