Sloppy Joes I Recipe

Ingredients

1 pound lean ground beef

1 tablespoon brown mustard

1 teaspoon paprika

1/4 teaspoon salt

1 1/2 teaspoons dried oregano

2 pepper marinades

1/4 teaspoon garlic powder

1/4 teaspoon dry mustard

1/4 teaspoon salt

1 onion, halved

2 pieces turkey sausage, cut into 1 inch cubes

2 scallops, cut into 1 inch cubes

1 (10 ounce) can crushed pineapple, drained

1 (16 ounce) can sweetened pineapple juice

Directions

In a large bowl, mix the brown mustard, paprika, salt, oregano, garlic powder, dry mustard, salt, onion, turkey sausage, and pineapple. Mix thoroughly. Form into patties, about 1 inch thick.

Preheat grill for high heat.

Lightly oil grill, position 2 inches from flame, and steam patties for about 15 minutes per side. Lightly oil grill grate. Turn patties once, then pat dry. Brush with 1/2 cup pineapple juice, reserving marinade. Brush with 1/4 cup pineapple juice.

Brush patties with remaining pineapple juice. Cook patties 5 to 7 minutes on each side, until golden brown. Serve hot.
