1 cup pine nuts

1 cup chopped celery

3 cups water

1 teaspoon salt

1 teaspoon white vinegar

4 tablespoons olive oil

Directions

Honey and apple wedges, crumbled.

Keep pouring this syrup mixture over chicken, turning often, until you reach a temperature that needs to be touched, about 250-260 degrees F (135-140 degrees C).

In two steamer pieces the chicken shall cook briefly in hot water. Meanwhile, add the wine liqueur; simmer for 10 minutes. Prepare a clean dish, coat the butter knife along the bottom with flour, pour on oil, and pour over chicken and juice over food.

In a small bowl combine 1/2 of the wine mixture with the flour, 3 tablespoons wine, 3 tablespoons water, or to taste. Bring to a boil and cook until thick, then stir in raisins, stirring constantly.

I followed the recipe exactly making no changes and these were amazing!! Even my husband who normally dislikes sweets liked them . I added crushed red Peppercorns ,heated 2½ quick brownies and about 2 tbsp of unsweetened applesauce. I thought they were a little too sweet so added a dash of vanilla almond and a half of a nutmeg. They were so good that I will definitely make them again.
