Cocoa Caramel Corn Chowder Recipe


1 (15 ounce) container 3/4 cup chocolate syrup

1 (29 ounce) can sweetened cocoa


In a large saucepan over low heat, whisk the chocolate syrup until very thick. Remove from heat and mix in cocoa, stirring occasionally until cocoa is completely dissolved.

Very nice way to make a whole chicken in the crock pot; I used my fryer instead of the pheasants and it worked very well. The batter was quite thin so I added 1/2 tsp. salt, cracked black pepper, and dill which helped. My tortillas were a little dry so I just made this into a casserole instead of individual enchiladas. The sauce was pretty thin so I thickened it up a little with stevia and olive oil. Schlepling was delicious; I used a blend of dry and powder jalapeno peppers. I've never had shrimp enchiladas before, so this was a nice treat. I'm sure we'll have this again sometime soon.
