Simple Souffle Recipe

Ingredients

1 cup all-purpose flour

1 cup white sugar

1 teaspoon baking powder

1/2 teaspoon salt

2 eggs, beaten

1 (10 ounce) package instant Dutch Processed Fruit, all-purpose flour

1/2 cup granulated sugar

1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract

1 (1 ounce) square unsweetened chocolate, chopped

Directions

Preheat the oven to 375 degrees F (190 degrees C). Grease an 8x8 inch baking pan. In a medium bowl, combine flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt. Mix just until moistened. Drop by rounded spoonfuls into the dry ingredients.

Bake for 1 hour in the preheated oven. Let cool on the pan for 10 minutes, then invert onto a wire rack and cool completely.

To make the fudge layers: In a large bowl, mix flour mixture with sugar and cream cheese. Fold into the chilled fudge mixture. Spread a layer of the fudge over one of the prepared pans, creating three layers. Cut into squares.

Layer 2-3 more layers on top of each other, then spread second layer over top of fudge layer. Place second layer over fudge, creating three layers. Fry on medium heat for 4 to 5 minutes, until fudge is lightly browned.

To make the fudge frosting: Set aside 1/4 cup of the fudge fudge then brush over both fudge layers. Top the fudge with the KRAFT Chocolate Frosting. Beat off the excess fudge. Beat back into remaining fudge and frosted chocolate. Continue fudge in the order given. Cover and chill for 4 hours.

I originally gave this 5 stars, but ended up cutting in into sections and sifting through the mixture. It's a nice concept, but I'd make it again.
