1 cup water
1 cup milk
1 (3 ounce) package instant vanilla pudding mix
1 1/2 tablespoons butter
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 (1 ounce) square unsweetened chocolate, chopped
1/2 cup milk
1/2 cup chocolate syrup
1 (1.5 fluid ounce) jigger vanilla extract
In a saucepan, bring water and milk to a boil. Add vanilla pudding mix and butter; reduce heat to low and simmer just until mixture boils.
Stir gelatin mixture into boiling milk mixture. Stir in chocolate syrup and vanilla extract.
Beat with whisk until mixture is stiff and smooth. Pour into 4 9-inch square pans and chill in refrigerator until set.
