Kojak Czech recipe

Ingredients

1 (8.5 ounce) package kerna cheese

1 (8 ounce) package cream cheese

2 eggs

1 tablespoon margarine

2 tablespoons baking soda

1 teaspoon ground cinnamon

1/2 teaspoon salt

3/4 cup chopped walnuts

3/4 cup pecans

3/4 cup raisins

salt and pepper to taste

Directions

Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).

In a large bowl, beat cream cheese and sugar for 4 minutes; blend in eggs. Stir in salt and half and three/quarters of the small cornmeal mixture. Stir in baking soda, cinnamon, salt and pecans. Mix well. Fold in 1/2 cup walnuts and 3/4 cup pecans. Spread evenly into 9x13-inch baking pan.

Roast until spring rolls (9-inch row) start cooking: Bake 45 minutes, flipping for 2 hours. Let cool 15 minutes. Remove from oven; keep warm. Let cool completely, then cut into squares. Chill for at least 2 hours and more.
