Baked Chicken One-Bowl Recipe

Ingredients

4 skinless, boneless chicken breast halves

1/4 cup butter, softened

1 large onion, chopped

1/2 teaspoon salt

1 (3 ounce) package soy sauce mix

1/2 cup vegetable oil

1 tablespoon lemon juice

1/4 teaspoon dried ginger

1 cup boiling water

1/2 cup sherry

2 tablespoons molasses

1 1/2 cups Italian-style salad dressing

1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce

1 teaspoon white sugar

1 teaspoon dried basil

1/2 teaspoon dried thyme

Directions

Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).

Place chicken in a large baking dish, and bake in a preheated oven for 1 hour. Remove chicken from oven, cut into pieces, and pat dry with paper towels.

Toss chicken pieces with butter or oil, lemon juice, ginger, and boiling water. Mix in soy sauce mix and olive oil. Arrange chicken pieces in baking dish. Top each piece with onion, salt, bell pepper, onion, celery, celery salt, soy sauce, vegetable oil and lemon juice.

Bake chicken in preheated oven for 45 minutes. Remove from oven, and brush chicken with salad dressing. Serve with tomato sauce, sherry, molasses, Italian dressing, Worcestershire sauce and sugar.

I followed the recipe exactly making no changes and these were amazing! They were super easy and sure fun to make. I made a variation by using cubed poached eggs instead of beaten whites and instead of broth, I used water chest purée. They were still pretty thin, but we were patient with them and theymelted up really nicely. Huge fan of the crab burrito idea.
