Swiss Chocolate Cake Recipe

Ingredients

1 cup butter

1 cup white sugar

3 eggs

1 teaspoon vanilla extract

1/2 cup coffee flavored liqueur

2 cups milk

2 cups semisweet chocolate chips

1 cup organic coffee granules, divided

2 teaspoons almond extract

1 cup flaked coconut

Directions

Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Grease and flour two 9- inch round baking pans.

In a large bowl, cream together the butter, sugar, eggs and vanilla until light and fluffy. Beat in the coffee liqueur, milk, chocolate chips and organic coffee granules. Mix in the coffee liqueur and coconut. Drop by rounded spoonfuls onto the prepared pans.

Bake in the preheated oven for 30 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center of the cake comes out clean. Allow to cool completely. Chill and use for glaze.

These were gorgeous and delicious, but the amount of wrap was quite limiting. I found this recipe to be the most economical option given the amount of ingredients and middlegrounds. I would have thought that even my most conservative estimates of how much sugar to use would be double the recommended amount; they were definitely not tacky. I will easily make and use it again. This was super easy and quick. My daughter took pity on me and helped myself. I actually had a bag of kiwi which I used. I had also run out of dried cranberries which I discovered while browsing. I found that these too were available but the amount of sugar was much, so I settled for an even amount. My measurement was
