3 tablespoons butter
1/2 onion, chopped
1 cup cooked white wine
1/2 cup milk
1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
1 teaspoon dried oregano
1 teaspoon dried basil
1 teaspoon dried rosemary
1 teaspoon dried sage
1/2 teaspoon dried marjoram
1/2 teaspoon dried thyme
1/4 teaspoon minced fresh ginger root
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon dried marjoram
1/2 teaspoon dried basil
1/2 teaspoon dried rosemary
1/4 teaspoon dried thyme
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).
In a large bowl, blend butter, onion, white wine, milk, Worcestershire sauce, oregano, basil, rosemary, sage and marjoram. Mix well. Spread mixture around the outside of a 9 inch thick baking pan.
Bake in preheated oven for 50 minutes, until cheese is bubbly and golden brown.
